Foxy Lady
17h warmblood mare, age 13
Foxy has been competed at BE100 in 2015, but due to time constraints for her owner, she has lived a fairly easy life over the last couple of years, with a few gentle hacks mainly on the flat. She's now on loan at a new yard, and her work is steadily picking up again. Her rider is focussing on building up Foxy's muscles, especially along her top line and gluteals, and increasing her fitness.
She truly enjoyed her first massage session, and was happy for me to work quite deeply, especially round her shoulders and neck, where she was holding quite a lot of tension. With regular treatments and lots of stretching we can help keep the muscles working efficiently, allowing her to build more power and flexibility in her movements without stiffness or tension. We're all looking forward to seeing how much she improves!
